Inspired by the Henri Cartier-Bresson's the decisive moment. Although far compared to his works, this is one of my few photos that I couldn't forget and am very proud of. I can still remember the feeling that I have when I took this photo. The minute i took it i knew i had a keeper. Everything is in place and the moment was just perfect.

HCB is considered to be the father of modern photojournalism and a master street photographer. But it's through his book, the decisive moment, that i came across his name. I've always believed that a good photograph conveys a story, and HCB achieved this by capturing that decisive moment (well of course his are great).

"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."

im new to this so bear with me

OK, so I've decided to start a blog. Well mainly this blog will consist of photos I've taken in which I feel are interesting and worth sharing. Hopefully this blog will also fuel me to take more "personal" photos and improve my photography (I also need to start carrying my camera with me more often!) :D

So bear with me and leave a comment or two on what you think about my photos.

And oh, here's a self-portrait of myself taken a while back just to start off everything.

and yes, i am just a figment of your imagination.... or am i?
